The Company

Visit Tromsø-Region AS was established in 2009 and is a destination company with over 200 travel businesses connected to it within Tromsø municipality and the surrounding area. The company’s headquarters is in Tromsø city centre.

Visit Tromsø-Region AS shall, through targeted marketing and sales,  work towards increased visitors to Tromsø and the surrounding region, whilst increasing the income for our partners. 

Visit Tromsø-Region is a marketing organisation for travel companies in the Tromsø region. Together, we work to build the Tromsø brand as an attractive destination. The company works hard to increase our partners’ competitive advantage and market position in both the corporate and incentive market, the meetings market and the holiday market. The company, through systematic and sustainable marketing and sales, work towards increased visitors to Tromsø and the surrounding region, whilst increasing the income for our partners. 

The company operates the official Tourist Information in Tromsø.

Visit Tromsø-region has an ambition to be the preferred partner for both private travel operators and the public sector in developing Tromsø as a destination.
