Ferries and express boats

There are good express boat and ferry connections throughout Troms country. With several daily departures, these trips are ideal for anyone wishing to enjoy the landscapes around the fjords.

Express boats

Tromsø - Finnsnes - Harstad: 2-4 daily departures.

Tromsø - Skjervøy: One daily departure, except Saturdays.

Tromsø - Lysnes (Senja): 1-2 departures Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Ferries

The Lyngen ferries are operating year round. The travel time between Breivikeidet-Svensby is 20 minutes and 35 minutes for Lyngseidet-Olderdalen.

The ferry between Brensholmen (Kvaløya) and Botnham (Senja) operates all year round. Travel time is 35 minutes. 

The ferry between Gryllefjord (Senja) and Andenes (Vesterålen) usually operates from end of May until the beginning of September. Travel time is 1 hour 40 minutes.
