This tour is conducted by FRAMTours. Into the wild night, a night-time hike tour on Kvaløya (with snowshoes when necessary). Prepare your backpack and charge your camera. Adventure is waiting for you.
General information
The wind is blowing. The rhythm of your heart speeds up and the Arctic weather envelops you, leaving space to your imagination which lets you glimpse the fjords.The peaks of the islands around Tromsø hide unique and unimaginable treasures. You just have to walk up with our arctic guide, discovering the best tracks hidden on Kvaløya.
Walk over layers of fresh, deep snow. Listen to the rhythm of your heart as, surrounded by stunning mountains, you discover the first fjords below. Fill your soul with the wild beauty that surrounds you. This is a wonderful hike just a few minutes from the city, surrounded by the immensity of boundless spaces.
During the tour we will serve delicious homemade cake or waffles combined with some hot drinks.
NOTE: from December to March, we might need to use snowshoes which are provided by us.
Included: Transport by minivan up to 7 pax, plug-in hybrid, homemade cookies or waffles, hot drinks, tripods for cameras, landscape picture in web resolution (72ppi), reflective vest, head torch, spikes, return to accommodation on Tromsø island. Standard guiding language is English. (Other languages Italian, German, French, Norwegian, Spanish and Portuguese available for groups over 6 persons.)
Please bring: warm and waterproof clothes (according to the weather conditions), hat, gloves and warm boots.

From 15. May to 31 August: 8pm (20:00) outside Clarion Hotel The Edge.

Drop-off at your accommodation on Tromsø island including Airbnb.

Our tours are suitable for people from 6 years old, but if you want to join us with your babies, you are very welcome. We drive our guests in our comfy and electric (or plug-in hybrid) vehicle across the country, every day. All year long.
